Afternoon Tea at The Berkeley
Afternoon tea at The Berkeley is a stylish reimagining of a beloved tradition, blending bold flavours with playful creativity. Expect unexpected twists, beautifully crafted treats, and a dash of cocktail-hour glamour — perfect for celebrations or a chic pause after a day in the city.
Time for Goûtea
A showcase of pâtisserie elegance, Goûtea fuses the French tradition of sweet snacking with the best of British afternoon tea. Served in the sleek and stylish surroundings of The Berkeley Cafe, designed by French interior designer Rémi Tessier, it offers an effortlessly chic setting for indulgence. For winter, expect in-miniature creations that celebrate the season’s finest flavours. This menu of all things bold and beautiful includes the indulgent Truffle Ham & Cheese Navette, combining whipped brown butter, tender ham, comté, earthy truffle, and a tangy hint of gherkins – as well as the luxurious Pistachio, where layers of crunchy praline, silky ganache, and vibrant pistachio gel create a nutty masterpiece.
Mar-tea-ni Is Served
Following a long history of serving afternoon tea with a twist, The Berkeley debuts a stylish new service. Take a seat in the Blue Bar for Mar-Tea-Ni, as this time-honoured tradition meets cocktail-hour chic. Here, your home-baked scones are topped with caviar, patisserie perfection comes in the form of pistachio ice cream lollypops, and three bespoke Martinis are mixology masterpieces in miniature. Served daily from 5-7.30pm, wrap up days spent shopping Belgravia’s boutiques, or plan the perfect prelude to festive celebrations.
