Children's Concierge

Family fun at The Berkeley is made easy thanks to our Children’s Concierge. Dedicated to our youngest guests, this specialist team can point the way to child-friendly shows, exhibitions and play spaces in the city, or help curate fun-filled experiences right here in the hotel.

Follow in the footsteps of dinosaurs at the nearby Natural History Museum, or scoot over to Hyde Park for an afternoon in the sun. Whether it’s inspiring minds, getting a taste of London culture or simply expending some energy, our concierges are ready with ideas for all age groups.

For those travelling with babies or little ones, we offer total peace of mind, from seamless travel arrangements to baby-safe toiletries – and special treats on arrival. And if you need a night off, it’s yours – we’ll take the reins for the evening, thanks to our in-house babysitting service.

HAMLEYS

Even the hardest-to-please teens will be impressed by the delights on offer at Hamleys, a wonderland of toys, games and gadgets. Testing zones and demonstrations make for a hands-on experience, with jaw-dropping displays on every floor (there are seven!). From Lego to drones to a menagerie of soft toys, it’s pocket money heaven.

ARCELORMITTAL ORBIT

There are slides, and then there’s the Orbit: A towering space age sculpture and chute all in one. At 178m, it’s the world’s longest tunnel slide, with views over Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Nearby, this green space has lovely canals and greenery. Or, once you’ve whizzed down the slide, pop into Westfield shopping centre for some retail therapy.

DOWN WITH THE DINOSAURS

Designed by Alfred Waterhouse and opened in 1881, the Natural History Museum is one of Britain's most striking examples of Romanesque architecture, considered a work of art in its own right. Victorian explorers brought back exotic animals and plants from all over the British Empire and a building was created that would be 'a cathedral to nature' - big enough to display whales, elephants and dinosaurs. Always a fascinating outing for the whole family.
